Outstanding , just outstanding journalism , top notch in all respects ... A few small drawbacks , the slightest Arabic slant , pretty much the premier news source around . Ranks easily with Reuters , Nova , PBS . Insightful , depth , breath , detail

This is one of the few publications I can count on for consistent hard news from diverse sources, written and photographed by true professionals. Im terrified of this magazine being killed off at some point because its too good to exist in our cycle of dumb news and worthless content. For now, Ill remain hopeful that this resource sticks around. Hopefully if youre reading this, youll spend some quality time with it.

Aesthetically appealing layout that displays the stories in bite-size chunks.

This app is awesome but more importantly the news content is outstanding! I know that it is operated by a bunch of ex BBC reporters. Space this ranks up with The Economist.

Interesting perspectives and also the app functions well. I wish it were a little easier to move through articles quickly though without so many gestures.

Let me say that if bias is a concern, Im sure that one is here but it is quite subtle, especially in comparison with Fox News and friends. I think this is excellent journalism with a bias that is refreshing because it isnt Western, and thus I can read about the world through a different lens than any found in a mainstream Western media outlet. I dont believe that its possible for any media outlet to be completely bias-free, even if they are wholly independent (and Al Jazeera is not, as it is owned by the Qatar elite). I doubt it possible for a human being to ingest and report on information without the end product being informed by personal bias, unless Buddha is a journalist. I appreciate that Al Jazeera gives me hard journalism without any celebrity three-ring circus distractions to detract from the dignity of the tone (or distract from the importance of the socio-political issues that are the primary focus). And the app works.

Seems well researched, and it is certainly enjoyable to hear more than the standard pablum as served up by the standard media outlets.

One of the best news/issues magazines available today. Clearly juxtaposed to other outlets, delivering clear and competently articulated content without the usual film of bias. I enjoy reading it every time; love how full and rich the reporting, how a feature story is given enough content to develop a richer understanding.

Very easy to use app.

I’ve tried three times and failed three times to subscribe to this magazine. It keeps telling me there’s an error, and that everything will be OK next time I run the app. No! Nothing changes.
